Green Food must have the following four conditions:
1. Green Food must come from good ecological environment, that is to say the producing area monitoring. The quality of soil, air and water must meet the requirement of‘Environmental technical terms for green food producing area’;
2. The production process of Green Food must strictly perform Green Food production technical standards, that is to say materials (such as pesticides, fertilizers, veterinary drugs, feed, food additives, etc.) used in the process of Green Food production must accord with guidelines about the use of relative means of production for Green Food. And the production operations must accord with Green Food production technical regulations;
3. Green Food products must be tested by the Green Food designated monitoring organization (PONY TEST). Its sensory, physical and chemical (heavy metals, pesticide residues, veterinary drug residues, etc.) and microbiological indexes must accord with Green Food product standards;
4. The packaging of Green Food product must meet the requirement of "General guidelines for Green Food packaging". And use the Green Food logo accord with relevant provisions.

news for green food testing:
1,Korea claimed that limit for Pb content in Quality Wine and flour will be 0.2ppm,also the Cd in the flour should be under 0.2ppm.
2,Japan carried out the new regulation that revised the limit of Cd content in the food.
