Hi, it would be romantic to prepare something on my own, but who has the time to cook nowadays? Wink Perhaps a restaurant is a good idea..when I think of that I always imagine that scene from Lady and the Tramp, when the dogs dine at the Italian restaurant and the dog passes a meatball chuck to the "lady" Cheesy sooo cute! Anyway, if you plan to spend a romantic evening with the Italian food, u can check the restaurants here, under Italian Restaurants in USA

I don''t know Mint and most of the restaurants I seem to know are French, but I can think of a few places that might work. The restaurant City Hall is just wonderful, right by City Hall. Jezebel's, southern cooking in beautiful setting, midtown. Maze in the London Hotel,a tasting menu, expensive side, but really worth it. Rosa Mexicana if you like Mexican food, 3 of them in NYC, romantic for Mexican, or anything.Restaurant on top of Marriott, don''t know anything about it, but it rotates and is supposed to be romantic, but may be touristy. You can also look thru Zagats to get some other ideas.
