Hi everyone

I'm a newbie to the food forum and have joined to ask for some advice for my first dinner party!  I am holding a dinner party on Saturday 27th Feb after hearing about the Smooth Radio Starlight suppers, where you can hold a dinner party and raise money for charity at the same time.  I'm not the best cook - I LOVE food though and especially enjoy Italian, which I'm not bad at cooking, well, basic pasta, but does anyone have a good basic recipe for Macaroni or Lasange - I know they should be easy, but I honestly can't cook well at all!

Thought a charity dinner party was as good a reason as any to start trying to get better in the kitchen.  Smooth Radio sent me some receipie ideas as well when I registered, but I'd love to hear some advice from people on this.
