So when choosing a soda / cola what would you pick?  Pepsi or Coke?

If you had to choose between pepsi and coke, what would you prefer?

I tend to prefer coke myself!

I dont mind, either its Pepsi or Coke. Both serve the same purpose.

Anything thats available will do for me. What do you think about this?

Pepsi or Coke serve the same purpose and it all depends on individual taste and choice. I feel coke is bit stronger than Pepsi and I like Coke over Pepsi. Coke has ground root and Pepsi branding has also taken it to the top.

I like Coke more because it is a classical drink. Many peoples like it ... for a reason ... because it is a great drink. Smiley

Hi guys

It was first introduced as "Brad's Drink" in New Bern, North Carolina in 1898 by Caleb Bradham, who made it at his pharmacy where the drink was sold. It was later named Pepsi Cola, possibly due to the digestive enzyme pepsin and kola nuts used in the recipe.[1] Bradham sought to create a fountain drink that was delicious and would aid in digestion and boost energy.[2]
In 1903, Bradham moved the bottling of Pepsi-Cola from his drugstore to a rented warehouse. That year, Bradham sold 7,968 gallons of syrup. The next year, Pepsi was sold in six-ounce bottles, and sales increased to 19,848 gallons. In 1909, automobile race pioneer Barney Oldfield was the first celebrity to endorse Pepsi-Cola, describing it as "A bully drink...refreshing, invigorating, a fine bracer before a race".[3] The advertising theme "Delicious and Healthful" was then used over the next two decades. In 1926, Pepsi received its first logo redesign since the original design of 1905. In 1929, the logo was changed again.
In 1931, at the depth of the Great Depression, the Pepsi-Cola Company entered bankruptcy - in large part due to financial losses incurred by speculating on wildly fluctuating sugar prices as a result of World War I. Assets were sold and Roy C. Megargel bought the Pepsi trademark.[4] Eight years later, the company went bankrupt again. Pepsi's assets were then purchased by Charles Guth, the President of Loft Inc. Loft was a candy manufacturer with retail stores that contained soda fountains. He sought to replace Coca-Cola at his stores' fountains after Coke refused to give him a discount on syrup. Guth then had Loft's chemists reformulate the Pepsi-Cola syrup formula.

Hello friends

When Coca-Cola India CEO and President Donald W. Short headed for India in March last year after heading Coke Japan, he got a terse sayonara from his bosses at the megacorp's headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia: "Do the right thing."Maybe he did too much of it. Just over a year later, it's going to land his company in court. On May 6, in the middle of the parched summer during which the Rs 3,000 crore soft-drink business scores its biggest hit -- almost 50 per cent of all soft-drink sales takes place between April and June -- the focus will shift from how many cases Coke sells to how it defends a case slapped on it by arch-rival Pepsi a couple of weeks ago. So far, the two companies had restricted themselves to pitched battles in the marketplace -- which was beginning to peak with the over-the-top advertising battle. "The reason I went to court," Pepsico India Holdings Chairman P.M. Sinha says, "is because I would like the fight in the marketplace".

Have a great day

I'd prefer to choose Coke, the light one... I think it tastes better, even the most of my friends disagree. Anyway... if I drink Coke I always remember the MythBusters show on Discovery channel. Has anyone seen it?
