How many meals do you normally eat per day?

I normally eat 2 meals a day.  I try to eat a good breakfast and then I normally eat a big dinner.  I know this is not very healthy but it is what I do!

What about you all?

I normally eat something light early in the day and then a regular meal in the evening.

I know good food habits says that you have meal after regular interval so that I stomach is not empty and does not lead to gastric.

Normally I also eat 2 meals a day.  I try to eat a good breakfast and then I normally eat a big dinner.  I know this is not very healthy but it is what I do because I am in service and now this has become my daily routine.

It is preferred to have heavy breakfast rich in protein and  light lunch and very light dinner that too never too late night.

It depends for me on how busy I am, if I´m at work, or if it´s the weekend and I´m at home. But usually I try and just have healthy snacks through the day and a big dinner at night - trying to eat before 8pm. This can be hard if you´re going out for dinner with friends and things...and I´m usually a bit of a breakfast skipper, eating at around 10am, as I don´t feel like eating until then!

Hi guys

Planning to go on a diet for weight loss? If so, the right dieting schedule is the first step towards making it successful. But don't forget that fitness is also important to overall health and at times you may need to compromise on your meals. If losing body fat is your primary goal then you must strike a happy balance between diet and exercise. One of your first tasks is to decide what kind of eating plan suits your body's needs and not to go over board with it. And in this context one of the most essential questions that people often ask is "how many meals per day should I eat?"
Please understand that dieting is not about skipping meals but about eating the right kinds of foods at the right times. A healthy diet should be balanced and provide you with all the essential nutrients. Skipping meals or drastically decreasing the nutrient content of meals can lead to severe complications later on.
So why do people go on a diet in the first place? Generally people diet for weight loss and to look better. Unfortunately people think that a few weeks of cutting calories will get rid of the excess weight that may have been building up for years. So they follow a strict diet for month and loose a few pounds. But what happens over the next couple of months when they go off the diet? Not only do they gain the lost weight back, but additional weight besides.

Thanks for all friends

Hello friends

Dieting is supposed to be about eating less right? So, how can eating more meals work? It is simple, eat the same number of calories, in smaller meals spread throughout the day and weight loss is a cinch. The concept is not new, but many people are still shocked when they learn that eating four to six meals a day, instead of three, actually promotes fat loss.
Why The Old System Doesn't Work
Many people still follow the antiquated believe that if they want to lose weight they need to starve themselves. In the process, they skip a meal to cut the calories. So, the body notes the loss of that meal. To counter for this lost meal the body slows the metabolism and cuts energy expenditure during that time. So, instead of burning calories the body is hording them.

Hi everybody! Smiley
I have a strictly diet and I have to say it's working, because not only that I feel good, I have much more energy, I lost some weight and so on Smiley
I eat every morning cereals with milk, fruits and stuff like this, for lunch soup or pasta or potatoes, and for supper a salad.
I also mount the bike every day in the evening. It feels so good! Smiley

Unfortunately I can't say that I eat regularly which is a little disappointing... but I simply too busy to set a time when I should eat every day.
I eat something light and quick in the morning, but the next time I eat is already in the afternoon... that's when I have my dinner, preferably at home. And maybe I have a third one somewhere hanging with my friends. Between these main meals maybe I have a snack or something.
I wish I could do it better... but now is summer, is hot... another reason ti skip a meal...
