Is burger really that good for you to eat?  Unless you get something really lean, I would think that the fat in it might not be the best for us.  How healthy is burger in the diet?

Found a recipe for Vegetarian Burgers - exceptionally tasty, especially if cooked on the BBQ!!

1 red onion finely chopped
2 sticks celery finely chopped
1/2 red chilli (seeded or not) and finely chopped
2 tbsp olive oil or sunflower oil
400g can kidney beans mashed
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1 slice of bread made into bread crumbs (or....readymade breadcumbs) - I think we used about three slices worth though.....just to firm the burgers up more
1 beaten egg.

Chop onion, celery and chili finely and fry in skillet in some of the oil till soft.
Grate bread intow a bowl
Beat the egg
Combine spices, mashed beans, bread crumbs and egg to make a moist paste.
Mix in the cooked onion, celery and chilli
Heat remaining oil in fry pan. Spoon mixture into burger shapes and fry for 3 minutes on each side.

Hi guys

Burger King (NYSE: BKC), often abbreviated as BK, is a global chain of hamburger fast food restaurants headquartered in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The company began as a franchise restaurant chain, based in Jacksonville, Florida in 1953, named Insta-Burger King, and operated by Kieth J. Kramer and Matthew Burns. After the company ran into financial difficulties in 1955, its two Miami-based franchisees, David Edgerton and James McLamore, purchased the company and rechristened it Burger King. Since that time, the company has used several variations of franchising to expand its operations. Burger King Holdings Corporation is the parent company of Burger King; in the United States it operates under the Burger King Brands title while internationally it operates under the Burger King Corporation banner. It is a publicly traded company with investment firms of TPG Capital, Bain Capital, and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners each owning about 25% of the company.

Thanks for all friends

I love those little sliders, they are so delicious! Has anyone ever tried Teriyaki burgers? I found them on the same site, and was really interested to try them, I just wanted to see how they were. Here's the recipe I have:

If you have more fat in your burger, it will be juicer. Use either ground chuck or regular ground beef. I don't put anything fancy in my burger patties like eggs or bread, that makes them taste like meatballs IMO. just a little salt and pepper sprinkled on top right before cooking. use a hot skillet or grill over high heat to sear in the juices. turn burger when juices begin to form on uncooked side. 5 or 6 more minutes should cook your burger to perfect medium-well.
